Day 8 Saturday, December 20, 1997EnsenadaA day ashore in which we await Deborah's arrival. Andy and I explore downtown Ensenada by foot, including two supermarkets. It's surprisingly much like the ones in California, except... it's all in Spanish and the Mexican food section is definitely larger here. ;-) I buy some smoked fish in a smoked fish store. On the way back, I have a beer & fabulously fresh margarita (MEP 30) at La Cocaracha and an absolutely superb and equally fresh mixed seafood cocktail at a street stand (MEP 12). Back at the Sea Star, we find that Deborah has indeed arrived. In the evening, we have dinner onboard with BBQ prawns and sword fish, purchased at the local fish market. |
