Day 10 Monday, December 22, 1997
Ensenada
Today is sunny again, but really cold (two sweaters). I watch the birds in
the marina and take some pictures...
Birds, birds, everywhere birds... and birdshit
A nice pelican...
...takes off
...while Ray goes to the port master to introduce us. Deborah, Andy, and I then
visit the fish market...
The fish market
Mmm, prawns
Mmm, shark heads
...before splitting up. I go to a book store and buy a Spanish-English dictionary
and wander around by myself.
The streets of Ensenada
On the way back, I have three lovely tacos camarones and two tacos
pescadas for lunch. Andrew buys wooden dolphin for MEP 100 (USD 12). I look for
Christmas cards in vain, but find some great bread and buy some small fireworks.
