Blah, blah, blah, Lucia Party, blah, blah, Sunday, December 13, blah, 19:00 (7 pm) blah, 101 Landers Street, blah, San Francisco, blah. Lots of high octane glögg blah, blah, home baked Lussekatter, blah, blah, wafer thin pepparkakor, and all the rest of the traditional stuff (blah, blah, blah). Naked people (maybe).

You know the drill.*

Drink deeply,

*) OK, OK, I'll explain it briefly to those who are new. The celebration of Sankta Lucia is a Swedish tradition that stretches back for centuries. In the pre-dawn hours of the morning, processions of white itals, workplaces and schools, offering glögg, coffee, lussekatter and pepparkakor to warm the frozen souls in this dark and cold time of the year. And those who don't party all night long instead. So c'mon over and join me in my new city abode over a few steaming hot gulps of glögg. You won't regret it! Trust me, I'm Swedish.

Landers St is in Mission Dolores just a block south of Market. It's between 15th and 16th Street surrounded by Church on one side and Dolores on the other. From 101, take Duboce exit and continue straight up to Market. Turn left on Market, and then left again on Dolores. Turn right on 15th and left on Landers. My house is the pink one on your left. Wave as you pass. Now start looking for parking. Good luck!

To find out more about previous years' Lucia Parties, check out Lennart's Past Parties and to read more about his funky old house, see Lennart's New Place. Participation at user's own risk. No purchase necessary. Don't drink and drive.
